Mechanical Load settings

Field Descriptions


Setting Description

Where load is applied

Choose from Centered or Specified

Mech Unit Load (per truss)

Amount of load. Min is 0, Max is 9999, default is 25.

Point Load (False=PLF)?

True means the load from Mech Unit Load is a point load. False means the load is a PLF load. Default is True

Use two point loads?

True means the specified Mechanical Unit load is applied twice, spaced apart by the Width option (1/2 distance each way of Where load is applied). Default is True.

Width

For use with the Use two point loads? option and the PLF option. Min is 0-0-6, Max is 20-0-0, default is 4-0-0.

Specific Location

For use with the Where load is applied - Specified option. Min is 0-0-0, Max is 99-0-0, default is 0-0-0. The default of 0-0-0 gives the same result as the Where load is applied - Centered option does.

Domain

For use with the TC, BC, Web options.

Y-Location

For use with the Web option. For web loads, a Y-location (height) must be provided. Min value is zero and a max value of 10-0-0 in FFIISS format, defaulted to zero.
